DON'T KEEP THIS TO YOURSELF!
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Joanne, I've edited your story due to its graphic content, but I will still address what you disclosed: for goodness sakes TELL someone! You and your sister are in danger. Contact Child Help at 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453) in order to talk to someone about the abuse you've faced at the hands of your extremely violent and volatile father, and what you believe your sister is dealing with. Child Help are staffed 24/7 with professionally trained counsellors who will listen to you. They are not a reporting agency, although they can help you through the process of reporting if you decide to disclose the abuse. And I strongly urge you to disclose.

Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Wow, that sucks! Are you still with your so-called dad now or are you with a different family?

Crazy "Dad??????
by: Linda

You dad must be one mixed up madman. To go to such violent extremes, when he saw you and the boy hugging. There is no excuse for him. I agree with Darlene, tell the authorities on him. The man isn't stable. Get as far away from him as possible. Been there and done that. But I didn't have the courage to tell on my abusers. I was so afraid, I look back now and I am sorry I didn't do it. Don't be me.
