I'm delighted that you are no longer blaming yourself. That you understand now that the blame is solely on the shoulders of the man who sexually abused you. Now that you understand that, it's time to look for ways of healing from the effects. You've already taken a huge step forward. Moving forward from here is going to take work, work that you can't expect to do alone. Please talk to your parents about what you are feeling and experiencing. Be honest with them. Tell them you need their understanding and support. Seek out some form of counselling in order to help you deal directly with the effects of the assault and all the repercussions of that assault. You most definitely deserve that kind of help, Jess. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Jess: I'm so happy that you realize that this was, in no way, your fault. I'm also a survivor of child sexual abuse. It took me years to get where you are now. I commend your strength. God Bless you and take good care of "You".
