Please seek out some form of professional help for what you endured. None of what happened was your fault. None of it. You were just as helpless as your sister. Your mother both betrayed and abandoned you and your sister. She also abandoned her Self. By staying with your stepfather, she continually put all of you at risk. And your stepfather was deeply disturbed and twisted. He took advantage of you and your sister's youth and vulnerabilities. He may well have sought out your mother because he would gain access to her children. What you must understand is that you ARE loveable. You ARE worthy of love and dignity and respect. Please start by treating your Self with dignity and respect and self love by getting the help you need. Only when you begin to see things with a different perspective will you begin the healing process. And that healing process is just waiting for you to embrace it, but only you can do that. Do what no one else would do for you: get the help you deserve. I send you love, light and healing energy, Jason. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
