What you and your brother are dealing with is every bit as difficult as any others who have shared their stories on this site. You both need help, but to stay quiet about what you are dealing with at home is to sentence yourself to more of the same. Neither of you deserve such mistreatment. Please consider contacting The Mannerheim League of Child Welfare Confidential helpline for Children and Teens at 9800 20400. Both you and your brother are most definitely worthy of such help. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

The sooner, the better...Darlene is right!

Janita, what your parents did to you is pathetic, unforgivable and ungrateful because you and your bother deserved so much better than what they did to you guys. They are twisted, sick, confused, cruel and sadistic in their own ways of thinking...not to mention control freaks. They didn't deserve to have such beautiful, wonderful children like you and your brother...but most of all, neither one of you ever deserved to have such uncaring, uneducated, unloving, ignorant, twisted, animalistic, cruel, barbaric, warped, confused, ruthless, sadistic parents. Oh, and those sickos are wrong. You are not stupid (and neither is your brother); you are not deaf; you guys are smart and articulate. Those sadistic control freaks for parents didn't know how to love even themselves, so since all they know is hate, they should've known better and loved and cherished both of you guys. Strangely enough, I can relate. The homework thing...yes, I can relate. The "are you deaf?" thing...ditto. My mom pulled my hair too, so, again, i can relate. Anyway, those beasts need help...but you and your brother need help too, so the sooner you tell someone about it, the better. Darlene is right! Please tell someone you really trust (other than your brother), such as a friend, teacher, principal, church member, police officer, a sympathetic grandma/grandpa/uncle/aunt/cousin/grandaunt/granduncle, etc. and keep telling until they will finally listen to you guys and help you guys.
