Don't keep what's happening to you to yourself. Tell someone who can help you all about the nasty names he calls you. But always remember that those names are lies. They aren't the truth about you. Your father has serious problems, and he's choosing to take those problems out on his precious daughter. That's not on you; that's on him. If there isn't someone you can talk to, consider Child Help at 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453) in order to talk to someone about the abuse you are still dealing with. They are staffed 24/7 with professionally trained counselors who will listen to you. They are not a reporting agency, although they can help you through the process of reporting if you decide to disclose the abuse. And you need to disclose the abuse. You can visit their website by copying & pasting the following URL into your browser: http://www.childhelp.org/get_help

You ARE worthy of dignity, respect and love, HNB. Don't every forget that. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
