Don't keep the secret. Tell, and keep telling until someone listens to you. If you can't tell your mother, then speak to a school counsellor, a church elder, or the mother of a friend. Nothing will change until you speak up, Hellen. I know you're scared for many reasons. Be courageous, and treat your Self with the dignity and respect this pedophile refuses to show you. You don't deserve this, Hellen. And it's not your fault. Fault is squarely on HIS shoulders because he chose to sexually abuse you. He's the one with all the power. But you can take that power away from him, and thus take back your own...it means disclosing. I urge you to contact Child Help at 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453) in order to talk to someone. They are staffed 24/7 with professionally trained counsellors who will listen to you. They are not a reporting agency, although they can help you through the process of reporting if you decide to disclose the abuse. Visit their website by copying & pasting the following URL into your browser: http://www.childhelp.org/get_help

Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. I send you love, light and positive energy, Hellen.
