How wonderful that you had such support from your father. So many could take lessons from his response; he's a TRUE father. It's so heartwarming to hear when so many have not experienced this. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. And congratulations on the upcoming birth of your baby. It's sad to read your story but it's good to hear how caring and loving your dad was about the whole event. It really reminds me how much my dad cared when I was trying to live with him after the neglect and abuse from my mother. He took my mother to court and won main custody of me because he cared so much like your dad did for you. Also, congrats on future motherhood.

Your story is so encourageing Gabby: You Let darlene and her many visitor know that there your father is good Father and that there are many like him out there too; It is always great to see a bit light out of darkness when sadly so many fathers: step-fathers Parenets are the main perpetrators of abusing children/teenagers that there is a high persent who love and cherish their child who tells them they are being abused: Good on you Gabby for being ever so brave: Thank your friend who encouraged you: She truly was (is) a true friend: Darlene surely a great and good woman: her affirming words to to you are from her woamns heart: You'll be a great Mother:
