Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. I applaud that you have aspirations to become a profiler; that would be turning pain into power. And I'm delighted that you've stopped self-harming. And while I commend you for "moving on", I am concerned that you've buried your feelings on this; feelings that will come back to haunt you as you mature and experience more in your life. The fact that you must still be in the same room with your molester during family gatherings is a huge concern. If your family can't or won't respect what you've gone through and what happens to you whenever the molester is around, then perhaps it's time to distance yourself from being around them. Your mental health must come first.
