I can understand that you feel as though you've been abused all over again after saving your father's life. Try to think of your gift of life as the act of a loving and compassionate man to another who is so confused and twisted in his thinking that he is blind to the true nature of the gift. Only someone terribly wounded and sick in the mind would be like your father. But you've chosen a different path; and for that you should be so proud. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

 Love, happiness and forget

Sweetie, be strong. Never let fear rule your life. Your dad is a souless, cold hearted man with no well being or future. what you went through for others to be safe make you a true hero. I look up to people like you. I do not get physically abused, but I get neglection from my parents sometimes. It's hard to look back and forget about those haunting memories. Never be afraid of what the future has to bring.

 You are a good and true Man

You sure are a great and good man to bereconciled to a very sick in mind Father who premeditated what he was going to do with those switches; You are a brave and strong Man now with a true friend who is your life-line to thinking positive, acting positive, being positive: Live well, Laugh alot, love much beginning with yourself: A beating is a beating so I can empatise with you in that: Darlene's comment is so re-assuring and loving from a woman's heart as a professional and as a real victim of abuse herself after turning her pain into power for all of us and the many people she journey's with every day: She truly gives hope to each of her visitors to her site: I am one of them too: Thanks
