Our attitudes and beliefs about sex are shaped by our parents and how they treated and/or mistreated us. Add to the mix sexual abuse...what is a very healthy aspect of being human becomes dirty, shameful and disgusting. But it's also stimulating, so of course there is confusion. But when we understand what happened to us we can change our thoughts about what happened to us, and that automatically changes how we act. Seek out various forms of healing modalities to help you deal with your pain, Emily. Always remember that what happened to you wasn't your fault. What you do now is your responsibility. I send you love, light and healing energy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
