I'm glad you finally found your father, Emily. I sincerely hope you are able to reconnect with your sister.

To my other visitors, if you are a parent who is estranged, divorced or in some way separated from your children's other parent, it is wrong to degrade that parent to your children. No matter what is going on in your adult life with your estranged spouse, you degrade [your children's DNA and thus your children] when you degrade their mother or father. Emily's story poignantly highlights what a child suffers through when a parent does this.
