I learned a long time ago to live my life for ME, not for the pride or acceptance of anyone else. Whether or not your father would be proud, you must go within your Self to determine what you want to do, what your passion is; and then do it...follow it. Treat your Self in all the ways you were denied as a child: with dignity and respect and with kindness. It all starts with YOU, Emi. You are not what you endured. You have the power to move forward in your life, but you must choose to. It was a gift that your father apologized, and an even grander gift that you found forgiveness for what he did. Now it's time to gift to your Self the gift of self-love. LOVE. That's Who You Really Are, Emi. Always remember that. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. I send you love, light and healing energy.
