What you described is abuse. You were a child. These people had all the power. They took advantage of your youth and your vulnerabilities and exploited them. And they did so without any questions from your parents. No one saw any red flags. You didn't explain why telling your teacher was such a terrible thing to do. What I will say is that keeping this secret will not help you. This will fester and begin, if not already, to control every aspect of your life. As you move through the various ages and stages of your life you'll find just how much such a secret will overtake and control you: lack of trust in relationships, difficulty at work, challenges all around. You didn't deserve what happened to you. You certainly deserve help for the fact that you were. I send you love, light and healing energy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

feeling happy
by: Anonymous

It may not feel it now but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. With some therapy and the opportunity to discuss what happened you can move from surviving to thriving. But as with all things therapists don't come in a one style fits all package so if the first one isn't helpful or doesn't make you feel as if you are able to talk, tell your story to a different one until you find the one that works. Breaking the silence is the first step to recovery and it gets easier everytime you do it. Hopefully one day you will find peace and happiness again

Good luck
