Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. I do hope that you are in some form of counseling in order to help you with the long term effects of not only being sexually abused by this sex offender, but being betrayed as well. The 12-step program can be helpful to manage addiction, but professional help can get you to the underlying issues of addiction. Other sexual abuse victims are not alone, but neither are you, Donna.

Donna, read Darlene's comment slowly but very surely, give it your best attention: She sure wants what is the best for you NOW. Counselling sure will put what that bad man did to you: Also why your mother believed him rather than you at the time: You are on the 12 steps program, great, I am certain you'll ad mit that Darlene has point and that you need something a little effective which help your inner healing from his abuse of you: Always believe in your self: I will: I can: I must because I am WORTH it.
