You are not thinking about this clearly...

Dawn, you were RAPED by this man! This is NOT on you! What happened to you during this terrible sexual assault is very common among victims of childhood sexual abuse. But what IS on you is that you are putting your niece (and others) at risk by not speaking out. This is NOT something you can keep secret. You have nothing to feel shame about. NOTHING.

And while I thank you for sharing more of your story and the effects of your childhood abuse with my visitors and me, I urge you to file a report before this man rapes someone else. And he will, Dawn, he WILL.
