Everyone let you and your daughter down. Everyone. The system failed you both. And this is now prompting you to turn the pain you're now going through into power. Keep screaming to the legislators. Keep standing up and telling both your stories and demanding change. When enough of us stand up, they'll have to listen. I do hope that both you and your daughter are in some form of counselling or therapy in order to help you deal with what each of you endured. And always remember, none of what happened was your fault. None of it. Including what happened to you daughter. The fact that she disclosed to you what happened, even after the fact, is a testament to the relationship you have with her. Many NEVER disclosed to their parents. She trusted you; and that's very important. I sent you both love, light and healing energy, David. Thank you for sharing yours and your daughter's story with my visitors and me.

I commend you on what you're doing with fighting to change the penalties because I agree they do need to be stricter. Again keep up the fight and may God bless you in it.
