Girls and women most definitely DO sexually assault other girls, including rape. It's not something we hear too much about, in part because of the shame attached; shame by the way that the victim does not bear. Shame, blame and guilt are squarely on the shoulders of the offender—in your case a teenage girl—because she chose to offend. You did NOT "deserve" to be abused. You did nothing wrong. You were victimized by someone who had authority and power over you. She took advantage of your youth and your vulnerabilities. And now you're left with the repercussions. Please reach out to talk to someone about what happened. I don't recommend your friends or schoolmates (they're not mature enough to be trusted) but rather, someone who will listen and understand. Start with a school counsellor or a trusted teacher if you really don't believe you can speak to your parents. You didn't say where to you live, so I can't give you a specific hotline to call. However, I can point you to the hotlines listed on my stories page, depending on where you live, in order to talk to someone confidentially. Always remember that you didn't deserve to be abused, Danielle. You certainly deserve help for the fact that you were. And just for the record, no one will ever tell you that you are being too emotional or any other judgment on this site. I send you love, light and healing energy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

It's not you fault!

You have nothing to be ashamed about.
It is your rapist who should be ashamed. You have a right to be upset.
