Your mother putting the blame on you made her an enabler. She did nothing to stop the abuse so that made her an accomplice. The pedophiles are truly a sick breed. And just to be clear, your uncle didn't have anal sex "with" you, he raped you. It comes as no surprise he was sexually abusing another little girl...sexual predators typically have many victims, and they don't stop until they're made to stop. You were SO brave to try to stop it on your own, then by running away and telling. You just didn't have a healthy sane mother to listen to you.

I do hope you are in some form of counselling or healing modality, something that will help you deal with all the repercussions of what you endured. I do understand why you're overprotective of your daughter. But the best protection you can ever give her is to communicate with her and always let her know that she can tell you anything. She must feel as though she can trust you, first and foremost. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. I send you love, light and healing energy, Cathy.
