You should be so proud of yourself for the way you're not going to allow these sexual abusers of children to continue to take your power. You've taken back that power; I commend and applaud that. As you move through various ages and stages of your life, if you find yourself in a situation where some of this comes back to haunt you, then seek out more help. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Glad you told
by: Anonymous

Caroline, I'm so glad that you told the doctor on those two sick beasts for a so-called family friend and his slimy female friend; I just hope that they will stay in jail forever for all those terrible, disgusting crimes that they committed against you. As for your parents, they need to stop blaming themselves for what those two sickos did to you and realize that you did the right thing. Counselling and therapy will help too.

criminal justice, yes. What about civil?
by: My Two Cents

I believe you wrote you were not sure what happened to those two...

From your story, I gather evidence and other victims were found, so I am wondering if you had considered a civil lawsuit against them? Any lawyer you get should be able to trace them down assuming they are still alive and go after whatever assets they have?

I have no idea if this is possible or if you want to do it but I thought I would toss it out there. It's just one more way to hold them accountable.

Be well.

My Two Cents.
