TELL someone what happened...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Ashley, tell someone what happened to you. Tell your mother, or a teacher, a counsellor at school, a church elder, a friend's mother, someone who can help you. Contact Child Help at 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453). They are staffed 24/7 with professionally trained counsellors who will listen to you. They are not a reporting agency, but they can help you through the process of reporting if you decide to disclose the abuse. And I strongly urge you to report. You don't deserve to be sexually assaulted by your brother, by your uncle, or by anyone. And please understand that none of what has happened is your fault.
