Bless you for turning pain into power by assuming custody of your two youngest siblings. Although it may be difficult to believe at this point, as you move through the ages and stages of your life, you may find that what happened to you comes back to haunt you. That is why I do hope you'll consider some form of counselling for what you endured as a child. Counselling may also be necessary for your siblings. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

by: maurice

Oh Annabella C those words are empowering words to many who are still struggling to live a life after abuse. I am so happy for you and Darlene's many visitors: Her loving words of affirmation to you and yes directly to all of us her visitors. I quote, Bless you (Annabella C) for turning pain into power. Just stay with those words for a moment. realize what you have done when you say, I got over what happened to me. I AM A SURVIVOR. From victim to victory just like Darlene is. Darlene certainly is one very special woman, professional Relationship Lady NOW. A communicator extraordinair to students and groups of concerned people wanting to be winners over abuse as well as supporting those who have been abused. She has written extensevely on the subject. Proving there sure is life after Abuse. Hi, Annebella C heed her words to you about counselling and having your darling sublings counselled too for all that they went through. They are blessed now to have you and your loving husband to love and care for them. Counselling certainly is most important. When Darlene suggests counselling than I am certain she know the value of it. Annabella C Thank You. your story gives many on Darlene's site great hope. Your the best. God keep you always in His loving Care.

Annabella, You are a brave woman for running away from those awful parents when you did. I wish I would have done the same, only I was too scared. I wish you and your family the best......Linda in Alabama.
