Your father is a very real danger to ALL children. I sincerely hope you have kept him away from your children. I've learned in my own life that when an abusive parent refuses to see the error of their ways and continues to be abusive, the only way to deal with it is by severing your relationship. I had to draw a line in the sand with my own parents; you'll likely have to do the same. And don't for one second believe that just because your father was such a twisted excuse for a human being that all men are. Because nothing could be further from the truth. But if you're convinced of this, that is all you'll attract. Please consider some form of counseling to help you deal with the effects of such horrendous abuse. You CAN learn to trust again, but you must first begin to heal from those effects. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
