Thank you for sharing yours and your siblings' story with my visitors and me. And you most certainly are right when you say you're very smart; you're mother's words were cruel and so misguided. I suggest you contact Child Help at 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453) in order to talk to someone about the abuse your siblings are still dealing with. They are staffed 24/7 with professionally trained counsellors who will listen to you. They are not a reporting agency, although they can help you through the process of reporting if you decide to report the abuse. At the very least, perhaps they can help you with your options. You can visit their website by copying & pasting the following URL into your browser: http://www.childhelp.org/get_help

Such uncaring system
by: Anonymous

Amber, I'm so sorry that you and your siblings didn't have a good family. Your so-called parents are wrong. You and your siblings are not stupid nor retarded; you guys are truly smart, articulate and worthy of love and care. I hope you guys are in a safe place now and that you guys try counselling.

After I wrote this story I found out that my sister (who my mom calls a whore)told me that she was being sexually abused by my adopted father. She is getting no support whatsoever from the family. My sister told her to her face that she was lying. So now that there being exposed for what they did now I hope things get better.
