You are a very caring person, a person who is observant and compassionate. We need people like you in the world. As for what may or may not be happening in N--'s life, whenever you (or anyone) suspects that a child is being abused, we cannot think about "jumping to conclusions". We all have a moral and ethical, and in some cases (like here in Canada) legal obligation to report known or suspected child abuse. N-- does not seem to be in a position to help himself, therefore, others have to step up. I urge you to contact Child Help at 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453) in order to talk to someone about the abuse you suspect. They are staffed 24/7 with professionally trained counsellors you can talk to and share what you've seen and what you suspect. They are not a reporting agency, although they can help you through the process of reporting. Visit their website by copying & pasting the following URL into your browser: http://www.childhelp.org/get_help. Also, it can be very distressing to deal with such a situation, so be sure to take care of your Self. Get the support you need from your parents, grandparents, school counsellor, church eldeer, etc. I send you and N-- love, light and healing energy. Thank you for sharing this story with my visitors and me.
