While I thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me, I must say that you need to tell someone what you are going through, someone who can help you. The chances that your parents will go to jail are pretty much slim to none. More importantly, you need help. The fact that you have considered suicide is very troublesome; for that, you most definitely need to talk to someone.

from someone who understands
by: Anonymous

I understand that you don't want to see them go to jail or get in real big trouble because deep down inside they are still your parents and you love them. But also understand that if you don't tell and they could one day kill you and that would be worse. You deserve to have a happy child hood and i know that foster care is no better and adoption usually takes years. But sweetheart you deserve better you and your sister. I think you should take your friends advice and tell the authorities. I'm praying for you and our sister and I hope that God brings you out of this situation alive and well. Trust in the Lord and believe in his word he will give you the strength that you need i promise.

Your parents are out of control
by: Anonymous

Allison, your parents are wrong. you are not worthless; you are worthy of love, dignity and respect...and you are also perfect just as you are. Your parents have problems and they should've known better and loved and cherished you and your sister. They need help...but you need help too, so the sooner you tell someone you really trust, the better.

TELL!
by: Nicky

Dear Allison

Please, please be strong and tell someone in Authority. You had the courage to tell your friend, now have the courage to tell a teacher. No one has the right to treat you like this! your mum and dad need help very quickly. I know it's easier said than done but you must. The world can be a fun and exciting place and your at a time in your life when you sould be enjoying school, your friends and a whole lot more. Build up courage and show these people who are supposed to protect you and love you that it is not acceptable for them to treat you like this for any longer. Make the change my dear. You are not alone! I'll say a prayer for you and hope you make the right decision. All my love, Nicky
