To A Kid:
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Your mother's ex-boyfriend was truly sick and twisted. Not only did he get high on cocaine, he believed the lies that were told to him, the lie that beating a child will make him a better man. You are a very forgiving soul; and that can help you as you move through the various ages and stages of your life. But if you find yourself getting stuck, still focused on what happened to you, or having difficulties coping with life in general, I hope you'll seek out some form of counselling or therapy (healing modality). Your mother did the right thing by leaving this abusive drug addict, but not before you paid a heavy price for her choice. Seek the help you need. I send you love, light and healing energy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
