To A Girl With Brown Eyes:
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

If you aren't honest with the social workers, they can't help you. Please be honest with them the way you were honest here. Nothing can change about your situation until you speak up and tell. Consider that it may be the only way your mother gets the help she needs, which in turn means you get the help you need. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Running away from abuse can be a help: but it may not be the answer either
by: maurice

Beautiful girl with brown eyes and that is who you are: Oh, you were so unlucky to be birthed by a mother who drinks heavily: She needs help: She's no idiot she knows what she is doing to you and does not give a damn: You will be a great help to both of you if you just take this page and give it to the social people: But Brown Eyes you must tell: You don't deserve to have that beautiful body of your battered, bruised, broken any longer: Your mother does not seem bothered you have ended up with two black eyes, broken ribs and whatever: Be brave, be strong and tell: Hi you have someone very special in your life that you have told called FRIEND: Brown Eyes with her by your side tell the social people: They have a good idea who is doing what they see: So it may not be as secret as you would like it to be: You are protecting your Mother: You know she is not a good mother: I know you LOVE her no matter what but if you truly do then get her help and get on to living your own life to the full: DARLENE HAS CERTAINLY LOVINGLY ASKED YOU TO THINK ABOUT TELLING YOUR STORY AS YOU TOLD IT TO HER AND HER VISITORS; THAT WAS BRAVE BROWN EYES: She wants what is the very best for you after all that mother put you through: I can: I will: I must because I am WORTH it as is my little sister:
