Abuse NEEDS to be reported...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Thank you for reinforcing the message that abuse needs to be disclosed if there is any hope of stopping it from happening again and again to a child.

Spot on there, whoever you are. It is a horrible thing to endure. Abusers put the frighteners on their victims because they know that what they are doing is totally wrong and they are scared of the consquences when they get found out. the sick stereotype that people who have been abused will become abusers is rather shallow. The survivors may not know how to love someone in the right manner, but it doesn't mean that they will abuse someone. It could almost be used as an excuse by perpetraotors of abuse should they get to court. "I got abused that's why I have abused"

My Story
by: Briana

child abuse is very wrong! i have seen many cases of it. what have the kids done to you? i have talked to many abused children. i hear the same things over and over. i'm scared. even words from these innocent children.. i wish i were never born! why should they have to say that? i'm glad i was born. they should have that right too! please..dont abuse. you are hurting, not helping. children have a right for life..and you do too. just dont abuse! they have done nothing to you, so why should you hurt them??
