Thank you for sharing your uplifting poem with my visitors and me. Your loving message is one that we all need to take within our hearts. I'm delighted that you plan to help others who have endured what you've endured. I hope that first you have an opportunity to bring healing into your life. I send you love, light and healing energy, Michelle.

GETTING ON TOUCH WITH OUR SELVES FIRST
by: Rita M

Dear Michelle,
You have an amazing gift that gets staight to the point without a dozen pages. You obviously endured abuse. You show honesty on how you felt.
That shows the strength you have. When we are weak
we are strong. You survived because of the drive to live.Together we hold hands with others to help put the fire of pain out.You show in your poem a Godly pride which is a strong tool of taking care of yourself with the desire to live. You stood strong even in the time when you felt you where going insane. You have amazing strength. We need people like you.We need to keep joining hands with other people that need our strength and encouragement.WE can relate to the ones that are hurting and shed light in the deep dark recesses aching in their well being to be seen and heard and rescued. In order for us to love we need to get in touch with ourselves first because that is what gives us permission to heal and be heard. There is nothing wrong admitting that we need attention because that is how we were made.We need to listen to 2 voices. The first one is ourselves. The gut instinct to be healed and heard. The second voice is the therapist who gives you the tools in life. The tools are getting in touch with your feelings, boundaries.wisdom and knowlege etc.Knowledge is recognizing the problem.Wisdom is learnig how to solve your problems.Being wise also means recognizing the signs of abuse. The therapist is your guide
line to heal and be in touch with yourself. You sound like you are a true survivor with strength that people need to experience in life.I am proud
to hear from another survivor who can encourage others and enjoy the time encouraging the victim or listening to a survivor. It all counts.
May God Bless you in your journey of life.
Rita M
