naughty computer modern technology how are you???
by: maurice

Thank you, i hope all is sorted as I wrote a number of comments yesterday and today NOW as well. I am sure all come right for you darlene. It won't be from you lack of trying. Good on you for letting us all know. most considerate. sure when it comes right I can write comments where I do not see them in the ones I wrote. Yes I noticed when I did not see a comment from you to one of your recent visitors. I re-iterate my request to please do not give up because of pressure on writing your most helpful comments. always caring, loving, helpful, encourageing. Bless you for your great vision and work.

From Darlene: Once again, Maurice, you find just the right words to say. Thank you.

The glitch persists, but only in the child abuse story comments; the other pages (like articles, commentaries, lighter side, etc.) are not experiencing this problem. I now have 14 comments in queue, but I am on top of it. My husband and I are heading up to our trailer at a nearby lake this afternoon, so while I'm traveling I won't be able to check on things. Even while at the lake, though, I have Internet access, albeit the painfully slow and sometimes unreliable dial-up. It means whatever I post takes ten times longer to go through the process, which in turn means fewer posts. And since we spend most of our summer up there...well, I can only do the best I can with the technology I have available to me.

Thank you for your always gracious and kind words, Maurice, and for being such an understanding soul. You're such a gem to this site and to all my visitors. Indeed, you're godsend.

Great you and your husband have your own space and time together
by: maurice

Thank you, beside a lake oh how I envied you when You related that. Just Thank You. Hi you just do the best you can and leave the rest to GOD. No excuses please. God know you do that. You need that summer by the Lake. Good on you for taking it. Thank you for being so sincere and considerate letting your visitors (me) God be with you both. Drive with care. Live well, laugh alot and LOVE much

From Darlene: As you can see, Maurice, the comments glitch in child abuse stories was resolved. Resolved before my husband and I left for the lake. The dial-up has been temperamental this trip...was able to release the comments yesterday, but I wasn't up long enough at any given moment throughout the day for me to actually post a story. The dial-up is sometimes like that here. But as we both know, we can only do what we can do. No excuses, no anxiety, just an explanation, especially since there are still 8 submissions in queue. The down time gave me an opportunity to open the pages of a wonderful book to the sounds of birds and the wind in the trees. I love being up here.
