A Message to Child Abuse Survivors on this Site

by A loving mother

I stumbled across this site when I read a horrible story of child abuse from a different website. I started reading your stories and am truly heartbroken. I have shed many tears for you all and pray God will heal your broken hearts and bodies. Fortunately, I have never experienced any abuse. I just wanted you all to know that I think you are very brave for sharing and I hope that in some way it helps you heal. When I first started reading your stories, I determined to read each one. In a way, I felt I was helping bear some of your pain. However, I am not even a third of the way through and cannot bear to continue. I have 2 small children that I love dearly and cant imagine anyone harming. So, it is with heavy heart that I say I wish I could have loved and protected you all. I do not know that this will be posted because it is not a story of abuse, but I felt like I needed to say something.
