It is frightening to think that your father as a pastor now has access to other children and youth. Children and youth that he could very well be doing exactly the same thing to that he did to you and your sister. All under the radar. All kept secret by other children and youth for the same reasons he's forcing you and your sister to keep the secret. I'd rather go to jail for murder than child abuse is a terrifying threat. So deeply disturbing.

You and your sister have grown closer as a result of what you both endured, and that is such a blessing. Yes, you are a victim of child abuse, but you are also a survivor. A very strong survivor. Just know that what he did to you both had nothing to do with either of you. None of what happened was your fault. Neither of you are responsible. Neither of you let what happened happen; rather, each of you did what you had to do in order to survive in an impossible environment. Always remember that. May you both find more healing, together, and gain strength from each other as each of you walk your healing path. I send you both love, light and healing energy. Thank you for sharing your stories with my visitors and me.
