You submitted your story quite some time ago...my sincere apologies for taking so long to post. I've been dealing with eye issues that have made reading online a major problem. I do thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

You have every right to be angry and disgusted. R--- may well have posted that child abuse video as a strategy in case you ever go more public about the abuse you endured at her hands. She is highly calculating.

As for your father not stepping up and seeing with his own eyes what must have been signs all over the place of what was happening, I can certainly understand why your lay blame on him. He was your dad. It was his job to protect you, not put you in harms way. And when he did put you in harms way, he failed to see it and do something about it.

As difficult as it might be to have to deal with all the feelings and emotions and to have to relive what she did to you, I wonder if it's possible for you to sit down with your father and have an open conversation with him. Share with him what you're feeling. If you're still in school, perhaps talking to a counsellor would help you, and maybe a counsellor could help with such a dialogue with your dad. Just don't keep everything bottled up inside. Doing so is making it more challenging for you to "reconcile" what you endured.

I send you love and all the healing energy I can possibly muster.
