You were saved by a counsellor at school; you were also saved by your sister who was courageous enough to disclose the abuse that was going on in your home. I applaud them both!

We all need to be aware and we all need to listen. Child abuse is everybody's business and responsibility.

I am also a survivor and want you to know i just got out of the abuse about a year ago. I will be 18 in three more months and have been through a lot my storie is on this site (Story of Healing and Recovery from Heather W). I support you and goodluck with the rest of your life.
