You truly are a remarkable woman. You've come through abuse and adversity, was there for your siblings when they had no one else, and now it's your turn. I commend and applaud you for where you now are in your life. You are entering a time that may require more help for yourself, so please seek it out if and when you need it. Thank you for sharing your courageous story with my visitors and me. You truly are an inspiration.

 Words really fail me

Teri, your so-called mother and her slimy new husband are wrong. You are not fat; you are not ugly; you are beautiful. you are not a loser; you are a winner. You are not stupid; you are smart and articulate. Those sickos for parents are really twisted, warped and confused in their own ways of thinking; in fact, they are not thinking right. Most people who treat someone the way you and your siblings were treated often do it out of jealousy because they think that they could never be the shining star like you. You are a star. Oh, and I am just as disgusted by the fact that your so-called mother kicked you and your sister out for being sexually abused by her slimy new husband; I hate women who choose men over their own children because children should always come first. While I'm glad that you and your siblings are in a safe place now, I hope you guys tried counselling because you guys did nothing wrong.

You are an inspiration - a survivor, a rescuer, and a supporter. I hope you finish your education to become a paramedic - you are a courageous, caring individual who deserves the best in life.

Yes, be proud of yourself and your accomplishments, for you are a beautiful, intelligent, and compassionate young woman.

Now is the time for you to take care of yourself.
