Thank you for sharing your story and your all-important message with my visitors and me. I do hope you are in some type of counseling in order to help you through all this turmoil. As for confronting your abusers, they are usually wracked with minimizations, outright denials, or even worse, the finger of blame is pointed toward the abused. It all leads to re-victimization. Therefore, I don't advocate for such confrontations. Instead, consider writing letters that are filled with all you feel...and then ceremoniously burn them as a symbol of letting go. But of course, in conjunction with some form of counseling.
