An uplifting outcome because of YOUR actions...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Thank you for sharing this with my visitors and me, Taylor. It was terrible for your brother to endure what he had to endure, especially when he could not control anything about what was happening. You were a hero for your little brother that day. You cared enough to check up on him, and then you cared enough to tell your grandmother when you knew he was being mistreated. You should be so proud of yourself. I'm certainly proud of you.

And I commend your grandmother for reporting it. Nothing would have changed if she hadn't.

I do wish both you and your brother all the best, Taylor. Whatever reason you were removed from your home by CPS, I sincerely hope has now been resolved so that when you do move back in with your parents, the two of you are safe. You both deserve that in your lives.

Encouraging
by: Judy

Hello Taylor2 - Your story is both touching, caring, courageous, and most of all encouraging. You have in turn encouraged a lot of people I am certain of that. You need to be commended for what you did. I wish you and your brother nothing but the best. I hope works well when your are reunited with your family - because of your courage I believe that you will not hesitate to notify someone if you or your brother ever encounter any unpleasant events in the future. Best wishes, Judy.

You are truly a good brother and friend of your brothers.

Taylor 2. Your sharing is touching of my heart in a real, deep and meaningful way. Well done for being so courageous telling Darlene and her many visitors who really feel your feelings with you. How could a care worker do such things to your brother who could not stop it happening. Grandparents are the saviour of many a situation like your brothers. She sure was not afraid to challenge that very uncaring person of your brothers. Good on your Granny, Abuse and being abused feelings are very strong in in me right now as a report has just been made know of the horrific abuse that went on in places of trust schools and institutions in Ireland. No way am I making comparisons Taylor2. What happened your brother is real to him. Be his brother with the help of your family and friends with his in a real meaningful way. LOVE him to Bits and pieces.
