As you move into various ages and stages of your life, you may find yourself haunted yet again by what your abusive mother did to you. And worse, what worries me is that you'll consider doing this to your own children if you don't learn to appreciate how wrong your mother was in what she did to you. Don't get me wrong; I'm delighted that you have a bond with your mother, but I am concerned about how her physical and mental abuse will truly affect you later on. I strongly recommend some form of counseling. If not now, sometime in the very near future. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Roxanne, the same thing happened to me too...and your parents have a lot of problems and they need help...but you need help too, so the sooner you tell somebody you trust, the better.
