Clearly, what you dealt with was abuse; it's not even a close call. Although what your mother went through might be an explanation for her the violence, neglect and severe abuse she inflicted on ALL her children, it is by no means an excuse. If anything, her experience as a child should have made it so that she would never do to her children what was done to her. There was a reason you were all removed from the home and put into foster care. Your parents were incapable of dealing with parenthood. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Almost identical family being highlighted here in Ireland right now: Six children evntually told on their parents after years of horrific abuse: Locked away in rooms: Not allowed to bathroom/toilet: Bet wetting and left sleep in it for weeks: Cruelly other children called them smelly etc: Sadly you were birthed into the % who are incapable of loving and cherishing their beautiful and innocent children: Great you found Darlene's Site: She sure knew her site would be a safe place for you and all of us her visitors to begin our healing from abuse process: She truly helps with her personal comment to each one: So beautiful child behind the annoniminity you start the process she encourages you to do: You'll be fine and in turn you'll benefit your sister and brother: Together then you will become loving sibling together for each other: Start with yourself: Love yourself: Be gentle and kind to yourself:Let your motto be from TODAY on: I WILL: I CAN: I MUST: because I am WORTH it: Do I believe I am WORTH it; say a positive yes to that: Look in the mirror and build up a good mirror image of yourself and your SELF ESTEEM: Counselling will put you on the right road to positive thinking: Also put all that went on in your house (not home) into perspective for you: I am NOW going to take charge of my own life: Be a friend: Have a friend: walking along side you through your life: Who will also help you to have the courage to get counselling: You'll be a winner over absue: I Will: I Will: Good on you wonderful and beautiful child of God and the Universe:
