Thank YOU for sharing yours and your sister's story with my visitors and me. How courageous of you to get you and your sister out of that horrific environment. I'm so glad you had someone to turn to, someone who could help you both. Thankfully, CPS stepped up and ensured you stayed out of that house of horrors. Regardless of the reasons, your "parents" ended up where they belonged. Jail is the best place for two such twisted excuses for human beings. They were undeserving of two beautiful children. Stay strong and stay true to yourself, Mika. Both you and your sister deserve to have a great life. You are such an inspiration.

BTW, you included a lovely photo of you and your sister, but I have a policy that does not permit personal photos in story submissions. This is to ensure the anonymity and privacy of my visitors. I trust you understand my position.

So many crimes committed...and a caring individual for a grandmother
by: Anonymous

Mika, I am so sorry that you and your sister didn't have good parents. Your so-called parents are twisted and cruel in their own ways of thinking. They didn't deserve to have such beautiful and wonderful children like you and your sister...but, most of all, you guys didn't deserve to have such uncaring, sick, sadistic, unloving, uneducated, ignorant, cruel and malicious parents...and I am glad that those beasts for parents are in jail because, like I said, they were and still are truly bad and sadistic excuses for parents to be so cruel to you guys. I am so glad that your sister is in a safe place like you are right now and that your wife and daughter are with you now because they are so sweet for doing that. Kudos to your granny as well because she, too, was very sweet for taking you guys in. But anyways, I hope that you and your sister tried counselling. I wish you, your sister, your wife, your daughter and even your grandma all the best.

You Are A Hero!
by: Linda

Mika, You are truly your sister's hero! You saved her. It Takes two special people to make good parents and yours were obviously "not" two of them. There was something terrible wrong in their heads, to stand by and let you be raped by strangers. They are going to bust Hell wide open! Prison is too good for them. Alcohol has a way of changing some normal people into beasts. But I think there was more going on in their heads besides alcohol. I'm so glad you have a family of your own and you are happy now. Your sister is going to be okay also, because the both of you sound like real strong individuals and my hat is off to you for getting the two of you away from those horrible parents! God Bless You, Mika......LOL....Linda

I am very touched by your story. That is awful that the women and man that made you could treat you like that. I think they should never see the outside of the prison and hopefully they are getting what they deserve in prison. I am so against child abuse. I wish they would put me in a room with everyone that has ever hurt a child one at a time. I have no remorse to what happens to those people and I wish them no type of happiness. I went through a lot as a child and i was lucky that my father raised his only daughter to not take it. I fought back and won. I am very happy you all are doing well now. You have to keep moving and look for the small things i life that make you smile
