You have so much right to be angry and hostile. Allow yourself to feel it fully, so that it will let go of the stronghold it has on you. I strongly urge you to seek out some form of counselling in order to help you with this anger, because it will consume you. You deserve so much more than to be consumed by the never-ending hostility and hatred. You really and true do. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

You gotta take care of you , not moma
by: Mac

Melody; Thank you for sharing your story. I hope you & your sister find counseling, & defiantely not live with your mother. We are innocent children, not the cause of their problems, nor or we to fix them, or be their slaves. Only she can get herslef to change or get help; nobody can do that for her.You gotta get out from under her roof, somepelace safe, get yourself some counseling, & live your life apart from your mothers manipulation & abuse & disfunctions. Be safe, get free, be healthier. Keep us posted, & know that folks are thinking of you .

Even animals would never treat their young so sadistically
by: Anonymous

Melody, whatever happened to you and your sister is really pathetic and ungrateful. Your so-called mother (along with her dad and your stepdad) is really twisted, sick and sadistic in her own ways of thinking...not to mention a control freak. She and her beast of a second husband didn't deserve to have such beautiful and wonderful daughters like you, but most of all, you and your sister certainly didn't deserve to have such uncaring, uneducated, unloving, ignorant, twisted, sick, warped, animalistic, barbaric, cruel, ruthless, sadistic parents (a mother and a stepdad, to be exact). Even making jokes about "Indians killing you" after leaving you guys in a desert really shows me how uneducated and ignorant they really are. Plus, they are cowards because only cowards will hurt, abuse and torture such helpless little girls that you guys once were. You guys were the children; they were the adults; they had all the power and they only misused it. I really hope that you and your sister are in a safe place now and that you guys take counselling. You guys are in my thoughts. God bless.
