police, authority figures as abusers
by: My Two Cents

A quick comment, I believe there is more awareness of authority figures as potential abusers.

In Winnipeg, Manitoba, a police officer is waiting for a verdict in a sexual assault trial, he is accused of sexually abusing two aboriginal brothers on overnight trips.

I believe in the summer of 2009 or 2010, a judge in B.C. Was charged and convicted of sexual abuse of a minor female that he met through court.

There has also been more awareness in the media of abuse by authority figures like cops, judges, social workers etc. Shows like Law and Order, movies like "The Hurricane" have looked at judges, cops, and prison guards, among others as predators.

I know it is so scary, but I hope that you speak with the local child welfare people, or a professional criminal child abuse investigator about what these two police "men" did and your father as well.

You deserve to be kept safe, and to see these perverts punished for what they did to you. I hope you will read Darlene's advice and tell someone about what has happened.

Be well.

My Two Cents.
