Your brother violated you and as a result you became what is called a "sexually intrusive child" with your younger brother. Your older brother was very likely molested himself, which is probably why he went on to molest you and so many others. By what you've described, it sounds as though sexual abuse runs rampant in your family. And the fact that the adults seem totally oblivious to this fact puts your little brother, your little sister and your own child at significant risk for sexual abuse as well. Please contact one of the hotlines listed on my stories page, depending on where you live, in order to talk to someone confidentially. And be frank with them about what happened to you; they can help you to put things into perspective. Beyond that, I'm not in a position to be able to give you any advice on that front. You need to speak to a professional, someone who can help you deal with the repercussions of coming from so much abuse. You certainly deserve that kind of help. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
