Dezaree:
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

I so glad your mother found the courage to remove you and your siblings from that abusive home, and I am equally delighted that you are now in a safe place. Try not to paint all men with the same brush, so to speak, Dezaree. Remember than not all men are like the one who was abusive to you. Most men are NOT like him. But if you believe they are, then you may find only those kind of men. But if you believe there are wonderful men out there, you will find them instead. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

He deserves to be isolated from society. Great you are safe now. Stand by your Mommy be strong for her as she will be for you. Always believe in yourself Dezaree. Darlene has given you real genuine understanding that all men are not the same as that horrible man who abused you and your siblings. You found Darlene's site for a reason now believe all she has said to you in her comment. Begin to value and trust yourself to love the wonderful and good person you are in your own right. Deep within us all is greatness for us to acknowledge. You have to work at it Dezaree. Begin today to build up your own self-esteem. Think positive, act positive, be positive in all you do and say each day you jump out of bed. Have a healthy mind in a healthy body. Involve and intergrate yourself with like-minded teens/young adults into sporting and cultural activities/disciplines. You'll be all the better for it and you will find genuine males who will value and respect you for the good person you are. Team sports are great for having a healthy mind in a healthy body. You look in the mirror and love the me looking back at you. Be gentle and kind on yourself and your body. I CAN: I WILL: I MUST: BECAUSE i AM WORTH IT. Hugs and cuddles to your Mam and yourself. Era go on hug that beautiful person in the mirror, nobody's looking. It will make you feel good about yourself.
