Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. Only YOU can decide what you need to do. What I will say is that I agree with this loving man you are with; you need help dealing with the residual of coming from abuse; which is likely the reason you get angry at the smallest things. These are control issues that probably stem from what you lived as a child, but now you are an adult with the power you didn't have as a little girl. Power that you now need to exert. I strongly suggest going back into counseling.
