I always promote telling. This is especially so when the person is still a child. It is only in telling that the child can get help in stopping the abuse from continuing. But oftentimes, the child isn't believed. So a child must continue to tell until they find someone who believes them and is willing to help. As an adult, I still promote telling, because those who abuse children, pedophiles, don't stop until they are made to stop. In other words, those who abused you are likely abusing other children. Just make sure you have a strong support system in place when you do tell because it is very possible that you won't be believed, which can further victimize you. Also understand that the 11-year-old who sexually abused you was herself abused in some way and acting it out. Please seek out some form of therapy or healing modality in order to help you with what you endured. And yes, most definitely yes, you CAN have a healthy relationship with a man. First though, seek out the help you need. Get yourself healthy first. I send you love, light and healing energy, Bambee. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
