The child abuse effects on Roxy: sent to foster care because of physical and emotional abuse at the hands of her mother; 2 pregnancies before she was 19 because of sexual abuse while in foster care

This happened when I was 4. My dad just walked out on us and left my mom with serious emotional and physical injuries. She took out these horrible feelings on me. She would throw me against the wall. Don’t ask me why she did this, but she did.

Then one day, while she was telling me I was worthless, she turned me around and saw a wide-eyed neighbor, who had come by to give back our platter, looking through the window. The neighbor called the police, and my mother was quickly arrested. I was sent to foster care.

Life was pretty happy there, until this guy started molesting. I was too scared to tell anyone. He said that if I told anyone he would cut off my hands and feet and hang them up on the ceiling.

By the time I was 19, I already had 2 children because of horrible abuse. Before, I didn't understand why people did these things, but I learned that it was because they were evil human beings. I love my 2 children dearly. Now, at age 37, they're grown up and moving away from home. I made them promise to NEVER EVER EVER let anyone do what they did to me.

So as I read through these stories, they totally reflected my feelings. I hope EVERY BODY understands that nobody likes to be mistreated.
