The following child abuse story from Melanie depicts sexual abuse at the hands of her mother, her father, and other males. Melanie did not share her child abuse effects, but she did state that she was in foster care and has now been adopted.
I was 1 year old when my mom started sexually abusing me. I went to my dad's on weekends. He also sexually abused me. My mom would have a lot of boyfriends. They would tie me to her bed and make me have sex with them. Finally, I started to bleed. My mom took me to the doctor's, and said I bopped it on my bike. My doctor knew, but I didn't have enough guts to tell. When I was 8, I was put in foster care. I am 13 now and adopted. |
