It is not uncommon for sexual abuse victims to go through adolescence without problems, and then reach a certain age and begin to have difficulty dealing with the repercussions of being victimized. This is because as we get older we enter different stages of our lives that can trigger the memories, emotions and fears. Males who have been assaulted by another male often have the added turmoil of questioning their sexuality. Counselling can help with this; hopefully that is available to you. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
