You DID get out of that violent relationship; and for that you should be very proud. I am VERY concerned however that your parents don't believe you when you tell them what actually happened. This boy WILL abuse again, and probably has. The next time, he could kill his victim. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Good on you Kaitlin: You were brave, you were strong and you did share the truth about what happened: You also hopefully learned from his kind: control freaks, idiots, You be in charge of your own destiny in life: Because you are one very special and unique teenager: Always believe in yourself: I was delighted to hear you play Basketball: I encourage the young and not so young to have a healthy mind in a healthy body: Kaitlin you be active and fully alive with your friends class/college mates in taking part in sporting and cultural activities: You already know the difference that is making in your growing up: There is safety in numbers and one makes friends for life being part of team sports in togetherness with others: Live well: Laugh alot: LOVE much: beginning with your good, beautiful and wonderful self: Value and respect yourself and then you will be in safe hands: Be safe: stay safe: always take time to get to know the boy friend who will value and respect you for who you are rather than who they might like or want you to be in their life: You've learned that lesson Kaitlin: Think Positive: Act Positive: Be positive: I'm the best: I'm Special and I am going to love me because I am WORTH it>
